Today was going to be a driving day, setting off early we drove the 350k to Lukcnow arriving at 6pm, a quick bush toilet stop and a cold dinner of Dall and rice at road side café was all we had to break up the day.
When we got to Lucknow we were shocked to see Marks and Spencers, McDonalds and a huge shopping centre. With time to kill before OzBus birthday drinks for one of the Aussie guys we headed out to go shopping! Finding everything we needed and more we returned to find the hotel bar served Smirnoff, Cobra Beer and had the dark dingy smoky atmosphere a pub should have, they even had bar stools! Birthday drinks went on till the early hours and we stumbled off to our beds drunk and happy.
