Day 69 – Bali

Friday 23rd November 2007

Today is the day our bus mates are due to rejoin us but as they are not due till this evening plans for the day have already been made. The girls are planning a pampering day of manicures and shopping and the boys (and one of the girls) decided to hit the water park.

The water park was cool, lots of slides, cool pools, a swim up bar (which prompted one of my Aussie mates to comment that this was the only bar he had been to where you could have twenty beers and still not need to get up for the loo, think about it) and a good day was had by all.

We wandered back from the park and saw the OzBus arriving in a trio of minibuses and heading to the hotel they were booked into for the first night (those of us who arrived earlier in the week had popped in to see this place and advised OzBus that staying here was not a good idea, and for once they listened but could not get out of the first night).

We then headed off to find the girls before rejoining our fellow OzBusers for dinner and spent the night swapping gossip and stories from our time apart.
